Possible Specs for Verizon’s Droid 3 Released?

What is supposedly an actual Motorola Droid 3 has been leaked in the wild, and it appears to be quite the super phone. (While we’ve got official word on these guys, remember that so far this is a rumor, but seems to be a pretty reliable on at this point.) Sporting a 4″ (noticeably bigger than the Droid and Droid 2′s 3.7″) qHD screen, giving it not only great screen real estate with good resolution, but also the ability to have a bigger, keyboard with more keys and more space. And its been put to good use, with the Droid 3 keyboard having a dedicated number row at the top.

So we’ve got a roomy 4 inch screen with an improve keyboard. But what else? Well, under the hood, we’ve got a Tegra 2, dual-core 1GHz processor. This phone should fly, even with MotoBlur (The skin Motorola now puts on its Android phones) getting in the way a little. The phone also features an HDMI out port, so you can easily throw your pictures and movies up onto your bigger screens. Of course, the Droid 3 has the requisite front facing camera, but is also rumored to be sporting an 8MP rear camera, giving you some pretty nice stills.
One potential negative? It looks like the Droid 3 will be lacking LTE support, meaning this will be a 3G phone. For some people this is going to be a deal breaker, as LTE is significantly faster than basically anything else available. Remember though, while it will lack that speed, it should also see imporved battery life, which it might need to help support that super fast processor.
