4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Announced by Verizon
Well, well, well! Looks like we’re inching ever closer to the release of the latest (and by far greatest so far) Android tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been revered as one of the slickest tablet experiences to date, competing head-to-head-with the iPad 2. Looks like we’ll see this one in stores tomorrow, 6/8, with 4G LTE on board.
While Apple may have hooked up their iPad (and other iOS devices) with a batch of new features yesterday, they aren’t available as of yet, and if you’ve got an Android phone, you may want to stay on the platform! So check out the remaining specs for this beast after the break!
The ten inch Android monster is literally the thinnest tablet available today, at only 8.6mm thick. The tablet also boasts the following:
- 4G LTE for super fast Internet speeds on the go
- 2 Color choices – gray or white
- 16GB and 32GB storage options
- Wifi, of course
- Android 3.1 (Sweet!)
- Movies in the Android Market
- 2 Price points for 4G- $529 and $629
- 2 price points for Wifi-only version ($499 and $599)
Is this a definite iPad 2 competitor for you, or is it still not in the running if it doesn’t have that Apple on the back? Let us know what you think below!
