Welcome back ITK readers, and hello newcomers! As you may know, ITK is a rather small website that is growing at a fast pace, but Colin and I would like to take this pace to the next level. Obviously in order to do that we need your help! You can help ITK grow bigger at a more rapid speed by following a few simple steps!

1. ITK Linking

The title says it all folks, we need every single reader to not only suggest us to their friends, family, and colleagues, or like us on Facebook, but to leave our website’s link in the comment box of any other tech-related article you come across online. Please continually send our link to every single person you know and tell them about the positive aspects we bring to the table! Not only does our link have to be shared, but the link to our Technorati page as well! Technorati.com is a website that ranks blogs based on their popularity and content, and if ITK establishes a good reputation there then page views will go through the roof. Also, doing things like Digging our articles help a ton, and we’ve added links to the bottom of each post to make it easy!

2. Promoting ITK

As I said before, ITK is growing quickly, but the best way to increase the speed is through our readers. If you promote us then our reputation will go up along with our number of page views. We have a product being sent to us for free by one company in the next week or so to allow us to get a firsthand look and review it for the ITK community. If we are going to continue to have this opportunity in the future we need more and more visitors each day. A big part of promotion is clothing, and very shortly ITK will have its very own online store! At first we will be selling ItsTechKnowledgy.com t-shirts for $15 a piece, and later expand the store with the addition of hoodies and other articles of clothing. The money made on the shirts is all going directly towards ITK in order to make the experience better for everyone, so please be sure to check back soon for shirt orders.

You might be asking yourself, “why should I do this for them?” The answer is simple…The more traffic we get, the better the content you’ll get!  While we strive, every single day, to bring you the highest quality content possible, in order to continue at this pace ITK needs to grow.  With the help of you, our readers, our popularity goes up and so does our money earned. As you can imagine, with more money comes a larger budget and with a larger budget comes improved content in quality and quantity for ITK. While we are always determined to bring you top quality content and information, with an expanded budget and an even more popular reputation we can continue to offer a considerably larger amounts of articles of even higher quality. In order for the ITK experience to continue to improve, we need your help.
