We told you last week that Verizon was going to start carrying Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 in July, and it looks like we’ve got even more news coming your way regarding the iPad 2′s big competitor.

Samsung has now made it official that the tablet will be available in the UK in both 3G and Wifi variations on August 4th, 2011 in stores across the UK. Launching with Android’s newest Honeycomb OS (3.1) and a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processer, the UK version will also rock an HSPA 3G radio, or if you’re in the US, 4G.

Guess what? Like we reported on earlier this month, the HTC Sensation is available today at T-Mobile. If you remember, the Sensation has been up for sale in Walmart stores for 3 days now, but is now available at T-Mobile storefronts nationwide. Even better yet, if you order online, you’ll get a $50 discount right off the top, bringing the phone down to match Walmart’s final price of $150.

Just as a refresher, the Sensation is one of the hottest phones available, with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3″ qHD screen, and HCT’s Sense 3.0 skin. The phone’s got super specs, and should a ridiculous phone to review. We’re trying to get our hands on one to review, so hang tight and keep your eye out for our take on the hottest phone on the block right now.

What’s that? What did you say? The View 4G isn’t enough on its own to get you into a Sprint store on the 24th? Well good news pal, here’s an extra something to get you up to the register and handing over that hard earned cash to Sprint instead of whoever you might at the moment…The HTC Evo 3D, which we gave you the rundown on back in the beginning of May, will be joining HTC’s View 4G in Sprint stores on the 24th.

 
This will make Sprint a premier carrier for HTC devices at the moment, as with the exception of T-Mobile’s upcoming Sensation (which will be hitting T-Mobile and Walmart stores this month), they’ve got the market cornered on the latest and greatest devices from the one of our favorite mobile manufacturers.

If you’re an Apple fan, today is a big day for you. Frankly, no matter who you are, Apple fan or not, today is a pretty important day. At 1pm Eastern time today, Steve Jobs will take the stage at Apple’s annual Worldwide Developer Conference and give us details on everything from new features in the latest version of OS X, Lion, to the changes that will be coming to iOS in its new version, as well as some info on the oft-rumored iCloud. T-Mobile and HTC have officially announced that T-Mobile will begin selling the Sensation on June 15th. If you haven’t heard, the Sensation is HTC’s newest entry into the smartphone game, and happens to be a real doozy. Packing a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3″ screen, and Sense 3.0, the phone is definitely a new front runner as far as specs are concerned. Additionally, if you don’t feel like waiting, it looks like Walmart is getting an exclusive early launch, and will be selling the phones starting June 12th.

Sony’s servers have been all over the news recently due to their lack of security, as millions of their PlayStation Network customers’ information was stolen by a group of hackers. Soon after being hacked, Sony attempted to restore its reputation and the PlayStation Network came back online again. However, Sony has failed yet again to protect its customers, as a supposedly different group of hackers has successfully intruded Sony’s network for a second time. The series we all know and love is back and better than ever with the 3rd installment of the Modern Warfare series. The trailer for the upcoming game has recently been released to the public and can be found here. It has been confirmed that the game will be released November 8, 2011, as any Call of Duty enthusiast could have predicted. After viewing the trailer, it is obvious that the game will have a variety of settings including: America, Germany, France, and more. Also, the game is continuing the tradition of alternating between developers Infinity Ward and Treyarch. While the trailer does not show off any actual game play footage, it does display breathtaking scenery and beautiful graphics. Also included in the trailer is the altered “MW3″ forming “WW3″ which allows us to infer the basis of Modern Warfare 3. The game will likely be Infinity Ward’s take on a WW3 in every aspect, from locations to weapons.

Modern Warfare 3 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and is so for good reason. The Call of Duty series has been topping charts over the past years, which definitely puts the pressure on Activision. In addition to this pressure, is the competition of other popular first person shooter titles such as, Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3. Unfortunately, limited information about MW3 is available to the public, but we do know that we can expect an entertaining new video game in November. Assuming Infinity Ward continues on their usual path, MW3 may have a few glitches at first but will overall be an extremely fun online game, with amazing game play and maps. That’s all for now, but expect an in-depth video review of the game upon release in the next few months.

So we basically got a blizzard of phone release date announcements in the past week, and surprise, surprise, they’ll all be up for sale at Verizon Wireless stores nation wide at the same time next week. While we knew these phones were coming some time this spring or summer, none had official release dates until now, and we certainly didn’t expect them to release those dates so near to the actual day the phones will be up for sale.

Guess Verizon and company aren’t trying to hype these phones up too much, which makes me wonder, what’s coming that they’re waiting for? Regardless, read on for the phones that were released and a little about each to help you decide on your next phone!
